The bottom line, I drive for PTI.
Here’s what I found, and why I went to work for them.
- Great Pay
- Great Benefits (Health, life, dental, vision and disability are available and more than reasonable.)
- Great Home Time
- Amazing Teamwork
- Cutting Edge Equipment and Technology
- Detention time after 1 hour, but I rarely have to use it.
- A lot of recession proof, in-house accounts with drop and hook freight.
PTI isn’t a big, national company. Their 700 truck fleet operates in the mid-west, south and southeastern states. No northeast. They offer OTR, regional, local and dedicated routes out of several terminals.
If you’re looking for 2 or 3 weeks out and 3 days off, you won’t find it here. This is a company that a family man, or anyone with a life outside of the truck will like working for. That’s why their turnover rate is incredibly low.
They also do a great job of making sure you and PTI are a match in the first place.
